It Sunday afternoon in New Orleans. I just looked at the lead story on MSN.com and it's about the Gulf Coast and the oil spill. I keep looking at the page wondering how is this possible? Just a few short months ago We were celebrating as a City with the Superbowl win by the Saints.
You just never know what Life will bring. What are We supposed to learn from this? I keep asking the question...I am not sure. P and J Oyster House, America's oldest oyster house, located here in New Orleans just let every one of their employees go this week. My heart feels for everyone.
Sometimes, I wish that I was all powerful and that I would wish all of this away with a blink of an eye.
I spend alot of time in The French Quarter because of my job and this past Friday, there people every where enjoying New Orleans. That's the way it should be, without this overcast of fear of what will happen.
I am surprisingly not angry...I am of the belief that everything happens for a reason, even though during the process it can be challenging. The most powerful thing that I can do is send light to the people who are working on the problem so they will be guided in the correct solution.
So everyday I picture the oil rig and send light to it and Mother Gaia, that my friends is one way you can help.
