Harrison Avenue Marketplace this Wednesday

Harrison Avenue Marketplace will come to life this Wednesday from 5-8PM at 801 Harrison Avenue. It got rained out last week. So you want to get your square on, then go this Wednesday and join the foot stompin' rhythms of Christian Serpas. You can even wear those crazy square dance skirts.

Children can play with a live pony from Equest Farm in New Orleans City Park. Smokin' barbecue will be served by Robert Fresh Market and the Champagne Dreams

Drago's charbroiled oysters will be sending up smoke signals filled with garlic, lemon and Romano. Sit a spell on the many hay bales covered with red and white
checkerboard tablecloths.

Are you feeling country yet?

My friend Paulette Lizano will be there with her latest creations from Lizano's Glass Haus. I know you don't want to think aobut Christmas yet, but when you see her new ornaments you will have to scoop them up by the bucket.

Kids Corner activities will be hosted by Lakeview Christian Center and Sojourn Lakeview Baptist Church.

Future dates are: October 14 "Oktoberfest", November 11 "A Cajun
Thanksgiving",
and December 9 "Joy to the World"
