Help Your Furry Friends on Tuesday

You know that you have to buy groceries...why not help out your furry friends at the same time. Tomorrow at The Whole Foods Market on Veterans, Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter, Animal Rescue New Orleans, and LA SPCA will benefit from a donation of 5% of the food sales. All the monies raised will be used for sheltering the animals at all three shelters.

And if you want to help even more Whole Foods is holding a pet food donation drive to provide much needed supplies to Animal Rescue New Orleans and the Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter.

There is an overwhelming shortage of both canned cat and dog food. Collection bins for pet food donations will be in front of the store and accepted during business hours.
