The poster will be unveiled during The 2009 New Orleans Wine and Food Experience on Saturday at the SuperDome. The New Orleans Wine and Food Experience is a 'grand' experience for both foodies and wine connoisseurs, pairing offerings from New Orleans’ finest chefs and selections of wines from around the world, May 19-23.
The Louisiana Seafood Festival takes place June 12-14, 2009 at the Old U.S. Mint. There are three festivals in one that weekend, called the “Vieux To Do” which includes the Louisiana Seafood Festival, the Louisiana Cajun-Zydeco Festival, and the Creole Tomato Festival. The Louisiana Seafood Festival will feature some of the city’s top chefs demonstrating the preparation of their signature seafood dishes, and samples will be available to visitors on hand.
Martin Welch was named one of “the Outstanding Artists of The Year 2008, by The New Orleans Museum of Art. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and President’s Scholar from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama. He continues to show and sell his art through the South.
